group Understanding Teams
In Tageur, your company is the container for all your assets, tasks, parts, and team members. Each company has its own data, completely separate from other companies.
Company Structure
- • Each company is completely isolated
- • Team members can belong to multiple companies
- • Data is never shared between companies
- • Each company has its own billing and subscription
- • Assets, tasks, and parts are company-specific
When to Use Multiple Companies
✓ Use Separate Companies For:
- • Different legal entities
- • Separate business units
- • Client/customer organizations
- • Completely independent operations
✗ Don't Use Separate Companies For:
- • Different departments
- • Different locations/sites
- • Different asset types
- • Team groupings
Pro Tip: Start with One Company
Most organizations only need one company. Use locations, tags, and templates to organize assets within a single company. Only create multiple companies if you truly need separate, isolated instances.
